MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated on Monday Russian President Vladimir Putin on his reelection and expresses hope for joint work to strengthen the partnership between states.
"Warm congratulations to H.E. Mr. Vladimir Putin on his re-election as the President of the Russian Federation. Look forward to working together to further strengthen the time-tested Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between India and Russia in the years to come," Modi said on X.

Vladimir Putin emrged as the winner in the Russian presidential race, securing more than 87% ov the votes.
Speaking to his "comrades-in-arms" at his campaign headquarters on Sunday night, Vladimir Putin thanked Russian citizens for exercising their voting rights at the presidential elections.
