Elon Musk's Neuralink is revolutionizing brain technology by implanting chips that enable paralyzed patients to control external devices, such as computers, with the power of their thoughts, without the need for any wired connection.
A video of a paralysed patient playing chess and Civilization VI video game just by his thoughts with the help of a chip implant by Elon Musk’s brain-chip startup Neuralink has caught the attention of the netizens.
Neuralink went live on social media with its first patient, 29-year-old Noland Arbaugh, talking about how his life changed from being paralysed below the shoulder for eight years after a road accident to being able to do things after undergoing brain implant surgery in January.
Arbaugh shared that he was discharged from the hospital just one day after undergoing the Neuralink procedure in January, with everything going smoothly.
After months of being part of the human trial, he emphasized that there is "still work to be done" to refine the technology.
