India's defence exports have expanded to 84 countries and regions worldwide.
This substantial growth is a testament to the concerted efforts and strategic initiatives taken by the Ministry of Defence to strengthen India's defence manufacturing capabilities and promote indigenous defence production.
At the same time, the success of India's defence exports is largely due to the collaborative efforts of some 50 Indian companies, both public and private, who have played a

These companies have demonstrated remarkable innovation, efficiency and adherence to quality standards, enhancing India's reputation as a reliable supplier of defence equipment and technology.
India's defence exports are geographically diversified, with shipments going to countries such as the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Russia, the UAE, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Chile, among others.
Among the major defence exports, Personal Protective Equipment, Offshore Patrol Vehicles, ALH Helicopters, SU Avionics, Coastal Surveillance Systems, Light Engineering Mechanical Parts and Kavach MoD, among others, have emerged as significant contributors to India's defence export portfolio.
