The Agnibaan rocket is produced by Indian space startup Agnikul Cosmos. The company says the rocket is a customisable, two-stage launch vehicle that can carry a payload of up to 300 kg into orbit of about 700 km.
The maiden test launch of Agnibaan rocket scheduled for Sunday has been cancelled once again for technical reasons.
It is the third time that the test launch has been postponed.

The initial launch was scheduled to take place on Saturday, but was postponed, also for technical reasons. That followed another postponement last month, when Indian space start-up Agnikul Cosmos delayed the rocket's launch without explanation.

The test launch was scheduled to take place from the country’s first private LaunchpadALP-01 – located at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
The mission has been called SOrTeD, the Sub Orbital Technology Demonstrator, and it will see the maiden launch from the launchpad developed with the helped of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
With the maiden test, Agnikul Cosmos aims to prove the function of the first rocket stage that will power the vehicle in future missions.
Agnikul Cosmos is India's second private spaceflight company after Skyroot, which has already tested its Vikram-1 rocket.
