Russia and India continue to foster their relationship utilizing the North-South international transport corridor to deliver goods.
Russian Railways Holding (RZD) has organised an "agroexpress" with oat flakes and cereals from the Urals region to India along the eastern route of the North-South international transport corridor (ITC), the company said.

"We sent a train with oat flakes from the Urals to India. 'RZD Logistics' has organised multimodal transportation of 'agroexpress' with oat flakes and cereals to India along the eastern route of the international transport corridor 'North - South'," RZD said in a statement.

Thirty-one massive containers were loaded at LLC "Resource TM Uvelka" and sent from "TLC Yuzhnouralsky" (Formachevo station, Chelyabinsk region) to Sarakhs station in Turkmenistan.
There, the containers will be reloaded on the 1435 millimetre gauge, will travel through Iran to the port of Bandar Abbas and then by sea to the Indian port of Mundra.
"The planned journey time to the destination port is 35 days," Russian Railways said.
