'Let’s Make Our Democracy More Vibrant': Modi

Earlier in the day, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to turn out in huge numbers and participate in voting.

“Voting is going to take place today for the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections. I request all the voters of this phase to participate enthusiastically in this great festival of democracy. I am confident that our youth and women voters will come forward in record numbers to cast their votes. Let us together make our democracy more vibrant”, Modi said in his poll day message on X (formerly Twitter).

Apart from this, various other politicians, including federal Home Minister Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh state chief Yogi Adityanath, made similar appeals.
Members from the opposition bloc also asked the people come out in large numbers and vote for the INDIA bloc.

“Today is the seventh and final phase of voting and from the trends so far it is clear that INDIA's government is going to be formed in the country. I am proud that even in the scorching heat, all of you have come out to vote to protect democracy and the Constitution”, Congress parliamentarian Rahul Gandhi said in a post in Hindi on X.
