The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team identified “multiple vulnerabilities” in Apple products, including iPhones and iPads, in its warning.
These vulnerabilities could lead to spoofing or leaks of sensitive information from the devices, the agency noted.

"Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Apple products which could allow an attacker to access sensitive information, execute arbitrary code, bypass security restrictions, cause denial of service (DoS) and perform spoofing attacks on the targeted system," the agency wrote in its advisory dated August 2.

Earlier, several Indian opposition politicians said they received alerts on their iPhones warning them allegedly about a "state-sponsored" hacking attempt.
