MOSCOW, (Sputnik) – At least 195 people died as a result of heavy rains and subsequent floods in Pakistan since the beginning of July, while another 362 people received various injuries, the Express Tribune reported, citing the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
The NDMA report describes the widespread impact of the rains, including the destruction of more than 2,000 houses. The flooding has also damaged more than 44 kilometers of roads and 30 bridges across the country.
