Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not propose a specific plan for settling the Ukraine conflict in his telephone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists on Wednesday.
Peskov noted that India is committed to a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
Asked if Modi had presented any peace plan for resolving the Ukrainian conflict, Putin's spokesman said "No."
The Indian side has consistently called for a peaceful settlement of the issue by diplomatic means — in line with the Russian viewpoint, Peskov stressed.
Earlier the Kremlin reported that Modi held a telephone conversation with the Russian president four days after his visit to Kiev.
