Russia Increases Oil Product Exports to India by 2.5 Times in June

Russia significantly increased its oil product exports to India, boosting them by 2.5 times year-on-year to $240 million, according to Indian statistical data analyzed by Sputnik.
As a result, in June, Russia became the leading supplier of oil products to India, capturing a market share of 28.6%.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and South Korea also ranked among the top three suppliers, with exports valued at $181.4 million (21.6% share) and $128.5 million (15.3% share), respectively.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that oil supplies to India from Russia in 2023 would increase by 2 times to about 90 million tons, which is 40% of India's total needs.

"Today India is one of our key partners in the energy sector. For example, if we talk about oil supplies, last year it was about 90 million tons, which is 40% of India's total needs," Novak told Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin.
