Business events will begin at 10:00 local time (midnight GMT).The stands of ministries and departments have already begun to operate at the site, including the stands of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Rospotrebnadzor, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Rostrud, and the Ministry of Education and Science. An exposition of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is also presented.The stands of the largest corporations, including VEB.RF, RusHydro, Sber, Rosneft, have started working.The Fish House restaurant of the Russian Fishery Agency will be open for the guests of the forum. Also, the official car of the forum of the Chinese brand HONGQI is presented in a separate pavilion.The EEF is an international platform that brings together business leaders, politicians and public figures from around the world to discuss the development of the Russian Far East and its integration into the Asia-Pacific region.This year's edition under the motto "Far East 2030. Combining strengths to create new potential" aims to develop the economy of the Far East and expand international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.Over 4,200 people from more than 40 countries and territories have confirmed their participation in the Eastern Economic Forum so far, including high-level delegations coming from China, Malaysia and other Asia-Pacific nations.Ahead of the EFF, aviation security has been strengthened at Vladivostok International Airport to prepare the air hub for more than 680 inbound and outgoing flights. All structural divisions have been transferred to an enhanced operating mode.EEF-2024 is being held at the FEFU site on Russky Island in Vladivostok from September 3-6. 16:33 03.09.2024 (Updated: 16:56 03.09.2024) VLADIVOSTOK, (Sputnik) – The Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) has opened at the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) in Vladivostok, a Sputnik correspondent reported.
A number of events will be held at the site on the first day of the forum, including the second international forum "Falcon Day". Business events will begin at 10:00 local time (midnight GMT).
The stands of ministries and departments have already begun to operate at the site, including the stands of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, Rospotrebnadzor, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Rostrud, and the Ministry of Education and Science.
