The SputnikPro project held its second meeting for students of the Kerala University in cooperation with the Sputnik Hub in New Delhi.
Sputnik traffic manager Pavel Zaitsev spoke to the young professionals from India about the revolution that short videos created in the world of social media and how they changed the way modern audiences consume content.
The workshop made him rethink how to grab the viewer's attention from the start: I can now reflect on why the video I made last week didn't get much attention, Larry Effande Lyonga, a postgraduate student of the Department of Communication and Journalism at the University of Kerala, said.

"I'll try your recommendations. The masterclass started a discussion among my classmates and I can't wait to implement all these ideas," he emphasised.

"A good journalist is always searching for new ways to attract an audience and produce content, especially since modern technology offers many opportunities to choose a format that suits you. I hope the master class participants will use Pavel's checklist to produce their own successful videos," Olga Dycheva, Head of Sputnik Hub in New Delhi, added.
Today's workshop was the second in a series of workshops organised for the University of Kerala this year.
