MOSCOW (Sputnik) - India has made a conscious decision to deepen and expand cooperation with Russia, despite geopolitical challenges and immense public and private pressure, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Tuesday.
"Despite the fact that there are geopolitical challenges and there is enormous pressure on India of a public and private nature, India has made a conscious decision that it will not only continue close contacts with Russia, but will also deepen and expand our cooperation. We will always be together with our Russian colleagues," Singh said at talks with Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov in Moscow.
