Vladimir Putin Sends New Year Greetings to PM Modi

Russian President Vladimir Putin has wished Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chinese President Xi Jinping and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un a Happy New Year, the Kremlin press service reported.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent holiday greetings to leaders of several countries for Christmas and the upcoming New Year 2025. Among those receiving his messages are Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
In addition to current leaders, Putin also reached out to former heads of state and government, including Cuba’s Raul Castro, Armenia’s Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan, Kazakhstan’s Nursultan Nazarbayev, and Germany’s Gerhard Schroeder.

Absent from the list were leaders of Russia’s unfriendly nations, such as US President Joe Biden.

Among the European leaders, Putin extended New Year wishes to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, and Pope Francis.
