17:38 18.03.2025 (Updated: 19:18 18.03.2025) MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Russia and the United States are conducting economic dialogue in various areas, but politics are now at the forefront, Russian Presidential Representative for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries Kirill Dmitriev said on Tuesday.
"I think that it is the resolution of political issues that is at the forefront now. In parallel, various economic spheres are being discussed, where dialogue can be imposed. From the Arctic to cooperation on the climate agenda. Therefore, it is still very early to talk about any specific projects," Dmitriev, the CEO Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) CEO, said.
Russia and US can cooperate in field of rare earth metals, and Russia is open to US partners investing in deposits, Dmitriev added.

"Yes, we are in contact with Europeans, including our colleagues from the European Union. Therefore, we believe that we will be able to establish a good dialogue with Europe," Dmitriev said.
