JAKARTA (Sputnik) - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto will visit Russia in June, Indonesian Economy Minister Airlangga Hartarto said on Wednesday.
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, during his upcoming visit to Russia, may sign an agreement on the creation of a free trade zone between the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Indonesia.
"The president will visit Russia in June. I hope the agreement can be signed during the visit," Hartarto was quoted as saying by Indonesian news portal Tempo following a closed meeting with Subianto.
Hartarto added that Russia and Indonesia will hold a meeting of the joint commission on trade, economic and technical cooperation from April 14-15 in Jakarta.
