In response to the crisis, India’s Foreign Minister, S. Jaishankar, announced on Saturday that India has dispatched the first batch of emergency humanitarian aid to Myanmar. This aid is part of India's efforts to support Myanmar in the wake of the devastating earthquake. A powerful earthquake struck Myanmar on March 28, with reported magnitudes ranging from 7.7 to 7.9. A subsequent aftershock measuring 6.4 in magnitude followed the initial tremor. The earthquake also affected Thailand, and seismic tremors were felt in China and Vietnam.
