BEIJING (Sputnik) - The death toll as a result of a powerful earthquake in Myanmar has increased to 2,886, with 4,639 people injured and 373 missing, the Xinhua news agency reported on Wednesday, citing local authorities.
Previous reports indicated that 2,719 people were killed as a result of the earthquake, with 4,521 injured and over 400 missing.
