Russian Navy's Ships Enter Indian Ocean After Indra Navi-2025 Exercise

A Russian Navy detachment entered the Indian Ocean to continue its mission after taking part in the "Indra Navy-2025" exercise, the Pacific Fleet press service reported.

"A detachment of ships of the Russian Naval Fleet completed the business visit program in the port of Chennai, Republic of India and arrived in Indian ocean to fulfill the tasks planned for the further march," the report said.

Earlier it was reported that the detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet consisted of corvettes "Rezkiy", "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenjapov" and Medium sea tanker "Pechenga" arrived in India on 26 March. Russian-Indian military maritime exercises took place in the waters of the Bay of Bengal together with ships of the Indian Navy of the Republic of India. "Indra Navy-2025".
During three days, sailors from two friendly countries practiced tactical maneuvers as part of joint formations, Perfected practical skills of fighting with BPLA and unmanned boats of conventional enemy, conducted artillery firing against sea and air targets.
