"The Russian Federal Security Service in the Krasnodar Territory detained a foreign citizen, born in 2000, involved in the collection of intelligence information and preparation of a terrorist act in the interests of the Security Service of Ukraine," the statement said.The detainee was recruited via the Internet in December 2024 to obtain data on the Black Sea Fleet and the Russian military, the FSB said, adding that he took an improvised explosive device from a cache to blow up an administrative building in the Russian city of Novorossiysk on the instructions of his curator.

FSB Detains Foreigner Plotting Terror Attack for Ukraine in Russia's Kuban
A foreign citizen involved in the preparation of a terrorist attack in the interests of the Security Service of Ukraine has been detained in Russia's Krasnodar Territory, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Friday.
"The Russian Federal Security Service in the Krasnodar Territory detained a foreign citizen, born in 2000, involved in the collection of intelligence information and preparation of a terrorist act in the interests of the Security Service of Ukraine," the statement said.
The detainee was recruited via the Internet in December 2024 to obtain data on the Black Sea Fleet and the Russian military, the FSB said, adding that he took an improvised explosive device from a cache to blow up an administrative building in the Russian city of Novorossiysk on the instructions of his curator.
