India is considering the use of tethered drones for enhanced surveillance, especially in areas vulnerable to electronic warfare.
Unlike traditional drones, tethered drones are physically connected to the ground, making them immune to jamming or hacking. This ensures secure, continuous data transmission and improves operational reliability.
In an interview with Sputnik India, the head of Sidk Technologies emphasized the potential of tethered drones to offer secure, reliable surveillance in the face of modern threats.
