Russian Air Defence Destroys Almost 200 Ukrainian Drones Overnight
Russian air defense systems have destroyed 198 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions since Monday evening, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
"In the period from 23:30 Moscow time [20:30 GMT] on June 16 of this year to 07:00 Moscow time [04:00 GMT] on June 17 of this year, air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 147 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles over the territories of the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh, Tver, Lipetsk, Oryol, Tambov, Tula and Moscow regions.
"In total, from 20:00 Moscow time on June 16 of this year to 07:00 Moscow time on June 17 of this year, 198 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed," the statement says.
