Afghanistan Hopes Large Russian Companies Will Work in Country
Afghanistan hopes large Russian companies will come to work in the country, Muhammad Younus Muhmand, first deputy chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, said in an interview with Sputnik on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"Russian companies are constantly present and are working in Afghanistan. And we hope that large Russian companies will work there," he said.
The first deputy chairman said Russia has not become Afghanistan's partner today, but has been one for about 100 years.
"We have always had good and kind relations with Russia. And we have always had good trade for a long time," he said.
