The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), part of the state-owned Rostec conglomerate, has delivered a new batch of Su-35S multirole fighter jets to the Russian Ministry of Defense as part of the state defense order, according to a statement released by Rostec.
These 4++ generation fighters have completed a full cycle of factory testing across various operational regimes before flying to their designated deployment airfield. Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) pilots who accepted the aircraft expressed their gratitude to the plant’s personnel for their contribution to strengthening the country's defense capabilities.
Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy General Director of Rostec, emphasized the strong performance of the Su-35S in current military operations.
“In the context of the Special Military Operation, this aircraft has proven to be the best in its class. It enables the use of a wide range of weapons across the full spectrum of altitudes and speeds, while supporting the most advanced piloting and combat techniques. These jets demonstrate exceptional flight performance along with top-tier navigation and targeting systems. Our aircraft help ensure mission success and bring victory closer,” Artyakov stated.
The Su-35S is a multirole fighter designed for air superiority missions as well as the destruction of ground and naval targets. It can operate day or night and in both simple and complex weather conditions, at long distances from its home base. Its combination of range, firepower, and advanced avionics positions it as a cornerstone of Russia’s tactical air power.
