Russia and India Expand Cooperation in Trade, Science and Education

Russia and India are actively developing cooperation in trade, education, science and tourism, Indian Ambassador to Russia Vinay Kumar said.
“India and Russia share a special, very warm partnership," Kumar the opening of the India Festival on Moscow's Manezhnaya Square.
"Trade ties are growing, and our cooperation is improving in various areas such as education, science and technology and tourism,” he added.
Kumar stressed that the relationship between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a clear reflection of the growing cooperation between the two countries.
He also noted that more than 100,000 Indian students are currently studying in Moscow.
The India Festival opened on Saturday, organised in cooperation with the Moscow city government and the Indian Embassy.
The programme includes screenings of hit Bollywood films, Indian-style dancing and meditation.
The celebration will run from July 5 to 13, featuring masterclasses, performances and vibrant dance shows for residents and tourists alike.
