The Ministry’s statement provided details on the time frame and locations of the interceptions. The drones were taken down between 11:00 PM Moscow time on July 17 and 7:00 AM Moscow time on July 18. Among the 73 drones, 31 were downed over the Bryansk region, 17 over the Oryol region, and 10 over the Moscow region, including three drones that were heading toward Moscow itself.The report also highlighted the destruction of four drones over Crimea, three over the Azov Sea, two over the Smolensk and Nizhny Novgorod regions, and one each over the Belgorod, Kaluga, and Voronezh regions. Additionally, another drone was neutralized over the Black Sea.The Ministry emphasized the effectiveness of Russia's air defense systems in preventing these UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) from reaching their intended targets, contributing to the security of Russian territories.
