NATO Threats to Kaliningrad Show Intent to Undermine Russia: Russian Presidential Aide
11:32 26.07.2025 (Updated: 11:36 26.07.2025) NATO is seeking to violate the territorial integrity of Russia, as confirmed by the military alliance's threats with regard to Russia’s Kaliningrad Region, Russian presidential aide Nikolai Patrushev told Sputnik.
Earlier this month, Gen. Christopher T. Donahue, commanding general of US Army Europe and Africa, said that NATO had sufficient capabilities to neutralize Russia's Kaliningrad region in case of a conflict and had already developed a corresponding plan.
"It is obvious that the threats against the Kaliningrad region are yet another confirmation of the aspirations of NATO member-states to violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Russia by military means," Patrushev told Sputnik.
