Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed seven Ukrainian drones overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Monday.
According to a statement from the ministry, four of the drones were shot down over the Rostov region, while one drone each was intercepted over the Oryol, Kaluga, and Bryansk regions.
"Last night, air defense systems on duty destroyed seven Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles: four over the Rostov region and one each over the Oryol, Kaluga, and Bryansk regions," the ministry stated.
Ukrainian forces have frequently targeted Russian border regions—including Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh—using various means of attack, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
