According to a brief statement issued by the Royal Thai Army’s ground forces command at 10:50 Bangkok time (09:20 IST), the Cambodian side postponed twice a meeting of regional military commanders from the two countries, originally scheduled for Tuesday morning under the ceasefire agreement, while exchanges of gunfire were taking place along the border.In an earlier statement released an hour and a half prior, the Thai Army command reported that "Cambodian troops had repeatedly violated the ceasefire, which came into effect at midnight, opening fire on Thai positions throughout the night and into the morning."In Bangkok, at 10:30 (09:00 IST), the National Security Council of Thailand convened a meeting with cabinet members to discuss the situation regarding the ceasefire’s implementation.According to Thai PBS, at 12:05 local time (10:35 IST), the National Security Council and the Thai government are expected to make a statement following the meeting.

According to a brief statement issued by the Royal Thai Army’s ground forces command at 10:50 Bangkok time (09:20 IST), the Cambodian side postponed twice a meeting of regional military commanders from the two countries, originally scheduled for Tuesday morning under the ceasefire agreement, while exchanges of gunfire were taking place along the border.
"The Cambodian side twice postponed the meeting of the Thai and Cambodian regional military commanders, initially set for 07:00 (05:30 IST), the second time indefinitely. Gunfire is being exchanged in multiple areas along the border. Small-arms fire began early this morning from the Cambodian side, and Thai forces are returning fire with small arms as well," the statement, fully published by Thai PBS television, reads.
