For the first time, they will participate in the joint Russian-Mongolian Selenga-2025 military exercise on the Russian soil," the statement said.The aircraft arrived at one of the airfields in Buryatia, and the Mongolian air force personnel were welcomed by Colonel Ivan Tarayev, assistant to the EMD Commander for International Cooperation, the statement read.The Russian-Mongolian Selenga military drills have been held annually since 2008. During this year's edition, joint Russian-Mongolian tactical group will practice dislodging a mock enemy force entrenched at a facility in the border area, the EMD said. Assault and army aviation, drone crews, artillery units, tank crews, mobile buggy and motorcycle groups, and special forces units from both countries will be involved.

Mongolian Air Force Arrives in Russia to Participate in Joint Drills – Military
ULAN-UDE (Sputnik) - The Mongolian Air Force has arrived in Russia for the first time to participate in the joint Russian-Mongolian Selenga-2025 military drills, the Russian Eastern Military District (EMD) said on Wednesday.
"The Mongolian Air Force has arrived in the [Russian] Republic of Buryatia. For the first time, they will participate in the joint Russian-Mongolian Selenga-2025 military exercise on the Russian soil," the statement said.
The aircraft arrived at one of the airfields in Buryatia, and the Mongolian air force personnel were welcomed by Colonel Ivan Tarayev, assistant to the EMD Commander for International Cooperation, the statement read.
"The participation of our Mongolian colleagues in the joint exercises is a significant event that demonstrates the high level of trust and partnership between our countries. I am confident that these exercises will be an important step in strengthening the security of our states and will serve as an example of effective international cooperation," Tarayev was quoted by the EMD as saying.
