Russian Air Defenses Destroyed 102 Ukrainian Drones Overnight: MoD
Russian air defense systems shot down 102 Ukrainian drones overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
"This past night, from 23:00 Moscow time on August 27.. to 07:00 Moscow time on August 28.., air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 102 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
It said 22 drones were shot down over the Black Sea, 21 over the Rostov Region, 21 over the Samara Region, 18 over the Krasnodar Territory, 11 over Crimea, three over the Voronezh and Saratov regions each, two over the Volgograd Region and one over the Sea of Azov.
