The Russian Armed Forces launched a strike using drones against the infrastructure of a Ukrainian airfield near the city of Konotop in the Sumy region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.
The ministry has shared a video footage showing how drones struck a Ukrainian armed forces UAV control center and an ammunition depot on the territory of the Ukrainian airfield.
Earlier, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov said efforts to establish a security buffer zone along Russia’s border with the Sumy and Kharkov regions were being successfully completed.
