PM Modi Extends Birthday Greetings to President Putin, Reaffirms Strategic Ties

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation with the Russian President Vladimir Putin, on the occasion of the latter’s 73rd birthday, the Indian leader's office said in a statement.
Prime Minister Modi warmly congratulated President Putin and conveyed his best wishes for continued good health and success in all his endeavours, according to the statement.

During the conversation, the two leaders reviewed the ongoing progress in the India-Russia bilateral agenda and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership between the two countries, it reads.

PM Modi also expressed that he looks forward to welcoming President Putin to India for the upcoming 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit.
