According to the exercise scenario, simulated terrorist groups have seized a populated area and taken local residents hostage.During the operation, Russian and Indian troops conducted reconnaissance of the area, identified sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the notional enemy, and advanced on military vehicles to block their escape routes. While on the move, the units practiced countering enemy diversionary groups, providing first aid to the wounded, and evacuating casualties from the battlefield.Special attention was given to the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for reconnaissance and precision strikes, as well as to the deployment of electronic warfare (EW) systems to neutralize enemy drones.The exercise also incorporated training on the delivery of ammunition and supplies to combat zones during active operations.

The main stage of the joint Russian–Indian military exercise “Indra-2025” is taking place at the Mahajan training range in India.
