President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko stated that Minsk is ready to strike a big deal with the United States in terms of normalizing relations if the interests of the republic are taken into account.
"We will wait for their global proposals, for a big deal, as they like to say. They love these big deals. We are ready for that. We are ready to strike a big deal with them. On one side of the scale are their questions, requests, and demands; on the other side are our questions and demands. Shall we solve it? Let's solve it. We are ready for that," the Belarusian leader said at a meeting on Tuesday in Minsk. His words are reported by the Belta agency.
