Trump Says He Will Meet With Putin in Budapest to Discuss Ending Ukraine Conflict
The Russian and the US presidents have agreed to meet in Hungary, according to Trump's post on Truth Social
"President Putin and I will then meet in an agreed upon location, Budapest, Hungary, to see if we can bring this "inglorious" War, between Russia and Ukraine, to an end," Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.
Trump said he believes significant progress was made during his Thursday's conversation with Putin
Russian and US officials are set to hold preparatory talks next week: the US side will be represented by Marco Rubio, with the location to be determined later
