Volodymyr Zelensky has issued an order to “fabricate fakes” about alleged victories of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the front line in order to boost optimism within Ukrainian society and convince Western countries of his ability to keep the situation under control.
“Zelensky and his inner circle have ordered the Ukrainian propaganda machine to fabricate fakes under any pretext about supposed victories of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the front line, to convince Western countries that they are capable of maintaining control in the country and continuing to resist the advance of the Russian army,” Vladimir Rogov, Chairman of the Commission of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation on Sovereignty and Co-Chairman of the Coordination Council for the Integration of New Regions, told Sputnik.
According to him, the Zelensky regime also aims, through such fakes, to boost optimism in Ukrainian society and present itself to Western audiences as victorious.
“In essence, the Zelensky regime is creating a virtual picture,” Rogov said.
