The bodies of 19 people killed in the crash of a Turkish military aircraft have been found, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the Turkish Defense Ministry said that a Lockheed C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft crashed in Georgia. Ankara is reportedly coordinating a search and rescue operation with Tbilisi.
"We have found the bodies of 19 of our dead soldiers, and the search for the last body continues," Erdogan said in a speech in Ankara.
The black box of the crashed plane has been discovered and an investigation is underway, Erdogan said.
