The political leadership of Ukraine does not give orders to its troops to surrender, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Gerasimov reported to the Russian President.
The Russian president called the Kiev authorities an organized criminal group that has usurped power. Ukraine's 'political leadership' is clinging to power for its own enrichment, he added.
Russian forces took control over 80% of Volchansk, Gerasimov said.
70% of Krasnoarmeysk has been liberated, Gerasimov said.
13 settlements in the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions have come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, Gerasimov said.
The Russian army continues to carry out their tasks as part of the special military operation, advancing in almost all directions, Gerasimov said.
