A solo exhibition by Russian People's Artist and member of the Russian Academy of Arts Nikas Safronov has opened in New Delhi, according to a Sputnik correspondent.
The show marks Safronov’s first presentation of his work in India. The exhibition features an interactive display titled Dream Vision, which incorporates modern multimedia elements that complement the artist’s paintings. The central piece of the exhibition was created specifically for India, drawing inspiration from the country’s epic literature, history, culture and artistic traditions.
“This is my first major exhibition outside Russia, and I hope it will continue traveling around the world, connecting our nations through culture and art,” Safronov said at the opening ceremony.
He emphasized the importance of India for Russia, noting, “We know that this wonderful nation will always support us,” and referenced Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent visit to India as a sign of strong ties.
