According to the ministry, all the drones were trying to target different Russian regions, but were destroyed before reaching their targets.The ministry reported that the largest number of drones were shot down over the Belgorod region, where air defense forces destroyed 49. Twenty-two drones were shot down over the Republic of Crimea, 10 over the Ryazan region, and nine over the Voronezh region.In addition, eight drones were shot down over the Caspian Sea, five each in the Rostov region and the Republic of Kalmykia. Four drones were shot down in the Nizhny Novgorod region, and three in the Lipetsk region.Two drones each were intercepted over the Kursk region and Krasnodar Krai. Furthermore, one drone each was shot down over the Bryansk region and Tula region.
