Russian Chief of Staff Praises Army's Success in Liberating Donetsk People's Republic
Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov has praised the achievements of the Tsentr (Center) group of forces in advancing within the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), setting further tasks, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
The Russian military is advancing in virtually all directions, Gerasimov said.
"The Chief of the General Staff discussed interim results with the command of the Tsentr group, praising its successes in liberating the DPR, and instructed the group about further actions," the statement read.
