"During the past night, from 23:00 Moscow time [20:00 GMT] on January 19 to 07:00 Moscow time [04:00 GMT] on January 20, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 32 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.The ministry added that nine drones each were shot down over the Bryansk Region and the Republic of Crimea, three drones over the Voronezh Region, two drones each over the Belgorod, Kursk, Volgograd, Astrakhan, and Samara Regions, and one over the Smolensk Region.

The Russian air defence shot down 32 Ukrainian drones over nine Russian regions last night, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Tuesday.
"During the past night, from 23:00 Moscow time [20:00 GMT] on January 19 to 07:00 Moscow time [04:00 GMT] on January 20, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 32 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.
The ministry added that nine drones each were shot down over the Bryansk Region and the Republic of Crimea, three drones over the Voronezh Region, two drones each over the Belgorod, Kursk, Volgograd, Astrakhan, and Samara Regions, and one over the Smolensk Region.
