A teenager who planned to set fire to the administrative building of the Russian Defense Ministry in the Tver Region by order of curators from a Ukrainian terrorist group has been sentenced to seven years in prison, the Federal Security Service of Russia (FSB) told Sputnik on Wednesday.
"The Second Western District Military Court has convicted a minor Russian citizen, born in 2011, for preparing to set fire to one of the administrative buildings of the Russian Defense Ministry using an improvised incendiary device," the FSB said.
Law enforcement officers established that a resident of the Tver Region through Telegram contacted a representative of a Ukrainian terrorist organization banned in Russia and, acting on the instructions of the curator, conducted a reconnaissance of the targets of the attack, as well as using Internet instructions to produce three Molotov cocktails to commit a crime.
