India and Several Arab Nations Launch Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture

India and several Arab countries have launched the Indian-Arab Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture,said External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.

"We launched the India-Arab Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture yesterday. These activities and initiatives will parallel what is happening in the bilateral domain and reinforce the bonds between us," Jaishankar said at the opening of the second meeting of the foreign ministers of India and Arab countries.

The meeting is co-chaired by India and the United Arab Emirates, with ministers and representatives from the foreign ministries of Algeria, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, Yemen, Qatar, the Comoros, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Oman, Palestine, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Syria, and the Secretary-General of the Arab League in attendance.
The Indian EAM emphasised that the meeting is taking place at a crucial moment, as the global order undergoes transformation for a variety of reasons.
The first such meeting took place in 2016 in Bahrain.
