Rostec Delivers Updated Su-57 Fighters with Advanced Weapon Systems to Russian Army
The United Aircraft Corporation has delivered a large batch of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters with an updated design, new onboard systems, and weapons systems to the Russian military, the Rostec press service reported.
The fifth-generation aircraft have been accepted by technical personnel and have undergone a full cycle of factory testing. Defense Ministry pilots tested the aircraft in various operating modes.
"The Su-57 is a formidable weapon that has proven its effectiveness on the front lines. It has destroyed numerous targets. This fifth-generation system can be used against even the most advanced enemy air defense systems. Today, we have delivered to the troops aircraft that have become even more powerful and dangerous," said Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov.
