Russia is ready to cooperate with Latin American countries on the use of the Russian Mir payment system, Alexander Shchetinin, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Department of Latin America, told Sputnik.
“The Mir payment system has already been accepted in several countries, which is a positive development,” Shchetinin said.
“We are prepared to continue working with other nations that are open to engaging in consultations and negotiations on this matter. We remain confident that as progress is made, we will be able to share the details in a timely manner,” he added.
