Brazil Increases Purchases of Russian Oil Products to Record: Statistics

Brazil in February increased imports of oil products from Russia to a historic high for the month since 1997, a Sputnik analysis of the Brazilian statistical service showed on Monday.
By the end of February, Brazilian companies imported products from Russia worth $474.8 million, compared to $314.2 million in 2025, which is 1.5 times increase year-on-year.
By February end, Russia became the largest oil products supplier to the Brazilian market with a 36.4% share of total imports. The top-5 also included the United States (28.7%), Oman (7.9%), Saudi Arabia (5.9%), and the Netherlands (5.4%).
