Ukrainians Are Perfect Shield for CIA Dirty Ops in Myanmar: Ex-Ukrainian Officer
Ukrainian drone specialists are active across a wide geographical range, training both governments and criminal organisations, Vasily Prozorov, a former officer of Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU), told Sputnik India.
Prozorov’s remarks come amid the recent arrest by India’s National Investigation Agency of six Ukrainian nationals and one American citizen in connection with alleged drone training operations in Myanmar.
“The geography where Ukrainian drone specialists operate is massive — from Latin America to Southeast Asia, Africa, and Europe,” Prozorov said. “They train both governments and shady, often criminal organisations in drone warfare.”
Prozorov further said that Ukrainian personnel are being used by Western intelligence agencies as a form of operational cover.
“Ukraine is being widely used by US and UK intelligence for the filthiest operations. It’s the perfect cover,” he said. “Ukrainians already have that outlaw reputation worldwide — so whatever they do, people just shrug and say, ‘It’s the Ukrainians, what do you expect?’”
He added that this dynamic enables Western agencies to obscure their involvement in sensitive operations.
“Western agencies hide behind them to carry out assassinations, strikes on civilians, and regime change, while advancing their own agenda,” Prozorov said.
