"Over the past night, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 45 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles: 19 drones over the Leningrad Region, 11 drones over the Voronezh Region, seven drones over the Belgorod Region, three drones over the Vladimir Region, and one drone each over the Bryansk, Volgograd, and Penza Regions, the Krasnodar Territory, and the Black Sea," the ministry said.Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously noted that Ukrainian forces are sending hundreds of drones to strike Russian territory.
